South Korea

South Korea, officially the Republic of Korea, is a country located on the southern portion of the Korean Peninsula. It is neighbored by China to the west, Japan to the east, and North Korea to the north. Its capital is Seoul. South Korea is a temparate climate region with a predominantly mountainous terrain. South Korea has a population of over 48 million.

I live in Daegu. Daegu is the third largest metropolitan area in South Korea, and by city limits, the fourth largest city with over 2.5 million people. Today, the city is making efforts to be the center of the fashion and high-tech industries. Due to its status as a cultural center, there are many nicknames for the city "Apple's City", "Beauty's City", "Textile City", and "Fashion City".

This movie name is Charlotte's Web. I saw this movie when I was sophomore in high school. I saw english verson with no Korean subtitles beacause of my teacher. Wilbur is the main character. He was too small when he birth and he loves life, even that of Zuckerman’s barn. He sometimes feels lonely or fearful. And Charlotte A. Cavatica is a spider who befriends Wilbur. Fern Arable, daughter of John Arable and Mrs. Arable, is the courageous eight-year-old girl who saves Wilbur in the beginning of the novel. It also has many supporting characters. The book begins when John Arable's sow gives birth to a litter of piglets, and Mr. Arable discovers one of them is a runt and decides to kill it. However, his eight year old daughter Fern begs him to let it live. There are many animals in the movie, so maybe children like Charlotte's Web.

Camping car

This is a camping car for camping. They look so luxury. Large size of television, comfortable sofa , wide table, and snug room. But I don't have a change using camping car.
I suprised come to USA. Because I saw many camping cars in the road. But 채른's father said it is not camping car but home. I didn't understand what he said. "Home? what?" But it is home really. They living in there and moving they want. It is social problem in USA. Because they don't pay taxes. It is same homeless people I think.
I'm sorry off the title about camping. But it is true I like camping and I love camping !

Summer vacation in Korea

Summer vacation in Korea, We usually go to the sea. We spend holidays and vacation there. But there are many people who want spend time in sea, so very complicate.

Above the picture, It is 해운대 in Korea. There are many young people.

One of your favorite highlights from the weekend

Everything we did last weekend are good. Among these activities, Fireworks and shopping are best. We saw various shapes in Fireworks, such as smile and heart. It is big show I had seen. And due to the Independence day, we could buy discounted goods. I feel something wanting because of short shopping time. But that's OK. ^^

Recipe of Korean food

Name of food > 부대찌개 (Kind of stew)

Ingredients > Kimchi, Spam(ham), dumplings(만두), onions, (canned)peas, Ramyeon(instant noodle), a red pepper, a green onion, a crown daisy(쑥갓), anchovy stock(멸치국물?)

Flavoring(양념장) > hot pepper paste, powdered red pepper, chopped garlic, soy sauce, powdered ginger, black pepper

How to make ?

1. Cut the vegetables.

- Onion cut like long shape and red pepper and green onion cuts smaller than onion.

2. Put the Kimchi and flavoring, now boil 10 minutes.

-Put the Kimchi in anchovy stock and add flavoring, boil ten minutes again.

3. Put the left ingredients and boil.

- Putting spam, ham, dumplings, onion, canned peas and boiling five minutes.

4. Put the chapped red pepper and green onion, finish soon !

- Putting chapped red pepper and green onion.

Just before you eat, decorate with crown daisy.
